Volunteer Application and Inquiry Release
Child Protection Laws require that the District investigate the background of everyone who may come into contact with students. This process must be completed every year no matter how many years of service you have volunteered. You must have a background check if you want to spend any time with students. Examples are: help in the classroom, chaperone a field trip, visit the library, help with PTO, Booster Clubs or sports teams, or any other activity with the students. Application must be turned in at least two weeks before the first time you want to volunteer. You may not be eligible top participate if there is not sufficient time to process the request. All background check information will be kept in a secure area.
